Experience the Journey of a Lifetime Aboard the First Passage to the West

Your unforgettable 5-night adventure begins in the vibrant coastal city of Vancouver, where urban sophistication meets breathtaking natural beauty. Take in the city’s stunning skyline, explore the bustling waterfront, or stroll through Stanley Park before setting off on an extraordinary rail journey into the heart of the Canadian Rockies.

Board the luxurious Rocky Mountaineer, where panoramic glass-dome windows offer uninterrupted views of snow-capped peaks, rushing rivers, and lush forests. As you travel through the scenic Fraser Valley, you’ll witness the dramatic landscapes shift from coastal rainforests to the arid beauty of Fraser Canyon, home to the mighty Hell’s Gate—one of the most powerful water passages in Canada.

Your first overnight stop is in Kamloops, a charming riverside town where the crisp mountain air sets the stage for the next leg of your adventure. The following day, reboard the train and continue eastward through rugged canyons, rolling ranchlands, and glacier-fed lakes. Marvel at the engineering marvel of the Spiral Tunnels, the stunning cliffs of Kicking Horse Pass, and the towering peaks of the Continental Divide.

As you cross into Alberta, the grandeur of the Canadian Rockies reaches its peak. Your journey culminates in Banff, a picturesque alpine town surrounded by some of the most iconic landscapes in the world. Whether you're exploring the legendary Banff National Park, soaking in the soothing Banff Upper Hot Springs, or simply admiring the beauty of Lake Louise, this journey is nothing short of magical.

From ocean to mountains, experience the beauty of Canada in style aboard the Rocky Mountaineer!
