DAY 1: ARRIVE IN COPENHAGEN, DENMARK
Check into your hotel. The rest of the day is free toexplore the Danish capital. Tonight, meet your TourDirector and travel companions.

DAY 2: COPENHAGEN
Enjoy a day at leisure in the capital of the oldestkingdom in the world. Besides many interestinglandmarks and architectural masterpieces, seesome of the more famous sites on your orientationdrive, including the legendary Little Mermaidstatue. An optional tour of Zealand’s castles is alsoavailable.

DAY 3: COPENHAGEN–ODENSE–FREDERIKSHAVN
After breakfast, start the journey northwards,enjoying the drive across the Great Belt bridge,which will connect you to the fairytale island ofFunen. Stop in Odense, Hans Christian Andersen’shometown and, via the Little Belt waterway, headfor Frederikshavn on the rural Jutland Peninsula.

DAY 4: FREDERIKSHAVN–HIRTSHALS–KRISTIANSAND, NORWAY–OSLO
Take a pleasant ferry ride from Hirtshals across thestrategic Skagerrak to Kristiansand to continue byroad to Oslo, Norway’s capital city.

DAY 5: OSLO–TELEMARK AREA
Gustav Vigeland’s sculptures are among thehighlights of the included Oslo sightseeing tour;also see the National Theater, Parliament, andAkershus Castle. In the afternoon, drive throughthe Telemark region, where you’ll spend the night.

DAY 6: TELEMARK AREA - VEEMORK - BERGEN 
Take the scenic route for a visit to Vemork, wherethe heavy water plant was blown up by acommando unit of British and Norwegians knownas the Heroes of Telemark. Visit the VemorkMuseum, then travel along lakes, winding valleys, and rugged gorges backed by towering mountains.Ferry across the Hardangerfjord from Utne toKvanndal with a picture stop at SteindalsfossenWaterfall. On arrival in Bergen, Norway’s picture-perfect Hanseatic seaport, start getting to knowthe city on the included orientation.

DAY 7: BERGEN
Built on seven hills with the fjords on one side and1,000-foot Mount Fløyen on the other, Bergen wasthe home of composer Edvard Grieg. Spend theday exploring at leisure or consider joining one ofour optional excursions to discover the history,traditions, and breathtaking views of this beautifulport city.

DAY 8: BERGEN–SOGNEFJORD/NÆRØYFJORD CRUISE–FAGERNES AREA 
More spectacular scenery as you drive towards theSognefjord, where you embark for a breathtakingcruise on one of Norway’s mightiest fjords, theNærøyfjord. On to the Fagernes area.

DAY 9: FAGERNES AREA–LILLEHAMMER–KARLSTAD, SWEDEN 
First to Lillehammer, the mountain resort that hostedthe 1994 Winter Olympics, then, a scenic drive alongbeautiful Lake Mjøsa. Continue towards Swedenthrough Värmland’s unspoiled wilderness of forestand lakes to Karlstad, located by Sweden’s largestlake, Lake Vänern.

DAY 10: KARLSTAD–MARIEFRED–STOCKHOLM
Leave Karlstad and head east towards Stockholmvia idyllic Mariefred. Here, view majestic GripsholmCastle, built in an enchanting rural setting. On to theSwedish capital. Its beauty is due to its uniquesetting on 14 islands between Lake Mäleren and theBaltic Sea.

DAY 11: STOCKHOLM
This is perhaps the most beautiful of the Scandinavian capitals, because the crystalline waters that flow through its intersecting canals give a luminous appearance to palaces, castles, and parks. Your city sightseeing takes in all the highlights including the City Hall.
